I want to start leaning Python after I fully understand JavaScript any advice before I start my journey through Data Science

Coursera , Edx and Udemy have data science courses but they are not as interactive and simple for beginners as they are on Udacity. Udacity courses are taught by good universites and industry Experts. Although courses on Coursera , Edx and Udemy are very good also.

you can buy some books to understand fundamentals easily. but you have to forget the old language

You can also check for courses on EdX. It provides many free comprehensive courses that cover quite a lot of practical stuffs.

if you are new to programming first take a course about fundamentals of programming to understand what programming really is.

Why learn Java Script first? Python is excellent to learn how to code in. It my make learning Java Script a bit easier to learn.
