How many hours a day would you recommend spending learning new coding languages?

I am relatively new to programming(learned a little back in highschool, and am changing career paths. I was in the medical field, so I am used to very long days studying, which i enjoy (love what you do!) So i am curious if it is beneficial to study many hrs a day, some hrs writing/reading code, etc. I just have free time to utilize and would like to advance as much as i can! Thanks

everyone is different ~ speaking as someone with multiple occupational training... for the average person that could be as little as 30 to 45 minutes per day or for the more learned academic minded like yourself several open available hours per day and or per week. There is no right or wrong answer as you understand your own learning level.

Thanks for the input! 30-60 minutes seems to be a good starting point.
