Which one first?

which one will help me understand the other.. c or assembly .. I have finished learning many high level languages already ?

I'd say learn C first, because it is a low level language but still is far from machine code. Assembly is the closest you can get to machine code, therefore it can be harder to grasp if you never managed low level details before.
