Front End or Back End Developer. Which one would you suggest?
I've just finished 12th and I'm confused to choose next step.. your recommendations may help.

It highly depends on what you enjoy more.
If you enjoy making something the user sees which just looks cool and think, damn, I really made that look great, frontend is propably your area.
Though if you love making functionality and giving a purpose to the otherwise functionless design, you might be more of a backend type.
Just experiment and see what you like better.

Dont choose.
Be full-stack developer.

I don't have any evidence or experience, but I think backend would be more profitable for a job

Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them directly.
A back-end developer is a type of computer programmer who creates the logical back-end and core computational logic of a website, software or information system. The developer create components and features that are indirectly accessed by a user through a front-end application or system.

If design and graphic attracts you and you do find them interesting then you are the person made for front end programming.
While for the another case if you like to manipulate the stored data and like to make conclusion i.e. interpret data effectively in term of statics and have interest in designing database, then back end.

Frontend is not only coding websites - you can make mobile applications and basically everything visible to users eye. Even large search engines needs both frontend and backend programmer's. Also if you have special client requirements any theme cannot fullfill exactly as you need you still have to go inside the code and get your hands dirty with websites.

if you have passion to create something great and visible to user eye you should go frontend. But as I have experienced you still need to have a bit of backend knowledge to make something really profitable. But you should go for what you like more.

I agree with Goran. Why limit yourself? Learn everything! =)

depends what you like if you like design and you have artistic ability probably will be easy for you to start with front end
if you like cooding and algorithms then start with back end development, any way after a while you will know both of them.

There are so many ways to create a webpage today without any coding skills, that is the reason im leaning to back-end.

all of my jobs and contracts have been full stack. if you want to compete in the market, go that route.

I am technically full stack, but love front end. Do you have an art or design background? In the world of programming, are you more concerned with form or function? While back end devs tend to earn more, front end devs have a higher employment growth and are not short job opportunities. While there are many website creators out there (wordpress, etc) it will never be able to replace a front end developers design, UI/UX, or best practice knowledge.
