Is it necessary to add a javascript to html and css ? Beginner here.

I'm new to web designs so I thought i'd ask.

it depends actually you can make a whole website with just html and css but you can do a lots of stuff with javascript do you want a loading gif appear when someone open your website? if yes then you need to learn it my point is , find out what you can do with javascript and if you need that kind of stuff, then learn it!

you should learn css and HTML before becouse today its often requiered to use as less javascript as possible. you should do as much as possible with css and HTML5 but sometimes you just need javascript

no it's optional. You may only want javascript if you want functionalities to your website. HTML and CSS is enough for a website.

I just remembered that especially in Europe Java Script Cookies bacame critical because of a new law regarding data protection. So HTML5 is a good alternative

You can quickly learn it (2 days where enough for me to complete the intercourses but it was during holidays) so you can get a good idea of how it works, then see if you want to get further..
