Best coding language for developing games ?

i am pretty interested in playing games and i thought how about making a game by my self wheter its small or big can you help me sort out which coding ia perfect for developing games and application wether its c# or c++ i dont know

c# is used for unity
c++ is used for unreal engine

both languages offer similar functionality on this matter, so it's mostly up to preference
