example:
3 = 0011
5 = 0101
3l5 = 0111 = 7
if there is a one on the position in 3 or 5, the result will be 1.
first position: 0 or 0 = 0
second position: 0 or 1 = 1
third: 1 or 0 = 1
fourth: 1 or 1 = 1
result : 111
