Suggestion on creating a club website?

I've been working on a website for my school's club. So far, I have been using brackets with some basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make the product. It looks alright so far, but in terms of like "good practice" is there anything you can recommend to me? It's basically a simple website featuring the club's board, announcements and things of that sort - nothing really changing in terms of data and such.

you may go with comments where ever you require so that it can be readable or understand the users ....just think about the HTML & CSS becoz it's main con
