Can somebody talk about game maker languge. Lol this app pretty much ghosts it.. i understand why though

game maker studio 2? why not use it?
trying to code my first game with gml, and it's hard to find good lessons on it other then the couple I've tried...any suggestions? or any warnings? lol should I just jump into python? I'm a noob ..sos

GML syntax-wise is really simple and pretty similar to python albeit it has braces. i was going to submit some lessons on GML for Game Maker 8 (i prefer that one to studio, just a personal thing) but realized not enough people would really be interested in that and also given GML is very easy to self-learn.

without reading a single lesson i was able to create a demo of a slightly more complex game within only a few months of time
