What is HTML 5?

I didn't finish module 2 in HTML so I'm still far from html 5 and I'm curious to know what is it?

HTML 5 is the newer HTML specification that includes many great features including but not limited to media tags like video and audio and structure tags like header, main, aside, and footer. It seriously modernizes the language.

The fifth installment of HTML. I don't know who originally made HTML myself, but what I do know is that HTML is the Core Language of every website. There are, as I mentioned, five (and more) major versions. HTML HTML 2 HTML 3 HTML 4 HTML 5 HTML 5, is the newest, most up-to-date and most reliable version of HTML: everyone should be updating to HTML 5. HTML5 brings Colour-Wheel-Pickers, Music and Video Players, New Ekement-Tags, Much More! Keep in mind, no external downloads are required. You just need the... <!DOCTYPE HTML> tag And the normal base-tags, then you're done! Remember to check the Syntax though, as some features from HTML 4 have been changed to suit the needs of HTML 5. :)
