Why are SL servers so slow?

Question

I have highspeed Internet on all devices (phone, laptop, pc) and I don't understand why I must wait so much time only to load a simple article or to post something.
I haven't any problems with the internet, sites like facebook or games load really quick.
Is it, because I use SL in germany?

I guess SL is having bottleneck issue from the amount of data traffic and the amount of users, and now with images in feed posts and ads videos everything is on an upscale. Maybe they have a plan on a better infrastructure, but was dealing with upgrade cost, this is entirely my imagination though, don't know for sure what's going on up there. Why not ask them straight though? maybe it's better to hear a direct response.

Instead of sitting on the money from the ads and Sololearn PRO, Sololearn could buy some better servers...
