Why ain't HTML popular for game creation!!!???

HTML is a markup language. Basically, it makes things look nice. That's it.

Pretty much any other language can be used to build games, but I suggest C#.. Combine it with some tutorials for Unity Game Engine and you will be making games in no time

HTML can't be used to make 2d games. none of these examples are games made in HTML.. These are all JavaScript, which CAN be used to make games. With some creativity, even CSS can make "games" .. But show me an example of a 2d game written in just HTML

ummmm..thats true,buh av seen it somewhere which said html can be used to create games too....though am not sure it true.that why i asked about it.
