How can I develop android applications???

I searched in Google and other too. But I am not sure..plz help guys.. What is an emulator.. I know SDK is a softwares developer's kit is a set of programs used by a computer programmer to write application programs. And it also includes a visual screen builder, an editor, a compiler, a linker, and sometimes other facilities too. What is. Emulator and also I want to know a brief about android architecture..

a) Register and install android studio in your computer(not smartphone).

2) Android Emulator is application for computers that can provide you android phone like environment and can run android app.
More info:
Bluestacks is very popular but it's laggy. For me, nox is better option. I've used both.

3) I don't know much about android architecture and your question has not been specific to me but I've seen they generally use Linux filesystem. It has Root, System, Storage and Data directories among others as main. Your ROM(say 64 GB) gets split b/t system, internal(data) and file storage.
