PRO user calls for HELP EXAM SECTION - sololearn doesn't listen

Currently on a free trial of the pro version, and would be extremely upset if I actually paid for this software! Still there is no help of explanation section on this app. The developers here make money from FREE questions submitted by users - which is fine - but they are unwilling to provide help or explanation to the free user content. how about a section added to premium users exam that EXPLAINS these questions? How many millions of dollars would that cost? how about competative sections without help, and a new non-competition exam section that gives less challenging questions that are explained properly? just coming to the help section ad-hoc and posting random questions is an ineffective and time consuming way of tackling this, and ignores the lost learning potential of thousands of users - it is NOT a solution. I cancelled my pro membership and still make use of the limited functionality of this app, which I'm very thankful for. I would be willing to subscribe as a paid user, should this app improve

Well, you point out that you're a "PRO user" and it seems to me that you expect some kind of VIP treatment because of that. Which is weird considering you haven't even paid for the pro membership yet. So what relevance does your alleged pro membership have?

This seems more like a comment or a rhetorical question at best. đŸ€” What exactly were you hoping to get out of this community and its volunteers through posting this thread? I think you said it best: "just coming to the help section ad-hoc and posting random questions is an ineffective and time consuming way of tackling this [...] it is NOT a solution." I think the best you (or any of us) can do is if you have complaints or suggestions, you can use the Feedback option from within the app or e-mail SoloLearn directly at info@sololearn.com. And whatever they say or don't say is up to them. Their platform, their product. My opinion.

I'm not disregarding your specific experience. I'm just not seeing this as productive behavior. There's a process for submitting suggestions and I'm guiding you toward your options. I'm not saying your feedback isn't constructive. I'm saying we (Q&A participants) are probably the wrong audience for lobbying your frustrations. đŸ€” I don't think we can conclude that challenge declinations are due to lack of clarity in the exam section. There are many reasons for challenge declinations (covered in other threads). From what I remember, many are busy or tired. I think you're making some interesting assumptions. Just because I don't start inflamatory threads in the Q&A doesn't mean I don't do my part to help new / struggling users and submit suggestions for platform improvements to SoloLearn. 😊

You're not a pro user. You're on a free trial, which means that you're using pro functionality without paying for it.

janning, the original post clearly states a number of suggestions that I would like to be amended yes, their product their choice - but they want more money, no? also, as the best app available sololearn carries some burden of responsibility to it's users. greater than 50% of users REFUSE my challenges as they likely are frustrated with this exam section and it's lack of help or clarity Lets be INCLUSIVE to new learners and consider these changes, rather than ourselves be happy with our understanding and thus disregard the experience of new and struggling users

hi Anna, the relevance of pro membership is that even after paying, there is still no dedicated help section. This is not about ME, but about ALL users who pay for this app. VIP treatment for all paid users is probably a fair ask, why else would anyone pay?

janning, inflamatory - I'll give you that. Yes inflamatory, but previous efforts have yielded zero, so why not petition sololearn publicly and hopefully others will agree with the cause. you personally may do a lot to help new users, that's not something I was really bringing into question. As I already stated however, coming to the Q&A section for each problem is time consuming and inefficient - so it doesn't really matter how much you help on the macro scale. This seems like a fair ask, and something that would magnify the effectiveness of sololearn as a training app - which is ultimately what this app is. there is a yawning gap between the course material and the exam section - fair enough - but why should the comments and guidance stop abruptly after the course content? I don't see this as being an inflammatory cause, even if the manner of presenting it is lacking
