How to make a .html file a .gif image.please read the description to understand the problem.

I have a gradient.html(say) file which has animation in it. I've also used css. I want to use it as my logo in my website. How can i do it. Your suggestions will be very helpful to me. Just suggest me how. an i do it.
i tried online converter to convert .html file. to .gif but there is no animation going on.
