it depends. java is a multi purpose language and very good for a lot of things, but other languages are equally good, and sometimes more appropriate in specific fields:
JavaScript is the language of choice for web front end
Python is widely used for AI
C / C++ s better for low level programming.

Java (also HTML and CSS) are all web based languges and can cant be used to make programs like Python and C can, therefore I wouldnt call Java the best languages.
