27 and dunno where to start to learn coding
Im an adult who would like to learn how to code. I know a 13 year old kid asked this, but im an ADULT beginner. Was starting java but im so confused and am afraid to adjust anything in the try it out coding area. For fear i delete code meant to stay there and i dunno what it used to be. I remember doing some sort of coding via Khan Academy that allowed me to create shooting stars and snowmen. Cant remember what type of code that was. Didnt look like java. Any tips and kind words of encouraging help would be appreciated. :-)

If memory served me right, Khan Academy taught Javascript, which is totally different from Java (except for the name). KA also abstracted the code to make the logic easier to grasp, so it may take more efforts making things from scratch.
You can learn JS from the SoloLearn course.

You can set your code to private if you don't want it to be displayed publicly. Don't worry, all programmers made bad code when they first started.
If you're motivated to learn programming, age won't matter much. Keep it up, and good luck.
