Question

As there was a Spam Detector challenge before, why couldn’t SoloLearn add a spam filter to when you post something? It would stop a lot of spam. My idea is, once the app recognises that it is spam, it would send a message to the @mods and they could take further action.

nice idea.
it's tough to implement,
like there are a lot of questions in Q/A section.
to do spam detection, the new post will be compared with every post.
it will make the all really slow,
I don't know even if it is possible to do or not.

but mail Sololearn about your idea at [e-mail]
or use in-app suggestion button and suggest this directly to creators.

Rowsej Algorithm in the code you gave is simple because it is totally static and console based.
it is not that much powerful for a database application.
