I believe C# is more beneficial to learn than vb.
I believe the language is looked down on by professionals.

Yes. vb or vb6 is too old. VB.NET is newer but not an interesting choice ...

what are the mayor differences VB.net offer? sorry if it sounds a dumb question but I am new in programming and I am interest in learning the pro and cons of any programming language .
