What's the difference between the role of a web designer and that of a front-end developer?

I know this may be a stupid question, but I still can't see the difference since, from what I have read, they both use languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript...

Freddy so basically I think web designing is drawing it out or designing the structure of the web, and front end developing is actually creating the web? đŸ€”đŸ‘

web designer is "the artist" who will draw a web page, and the front-end developer is "the technician" who will put the work of designer on the web. but you can be both !
