It shouldn't be a problem, you continue your study and in spare time like an hour or two a day, try to make a program to solve problems from your text book, like unitary methods, factorizations, you can even try divisions of polynomial functions if you want to develop complex logics.. trust me if you think from a programmer s view your syllabus has enough challenges, so you'll learn python as well as revise your syllabus
