How many XP (points) do you get for finishing a language course on Sololearn?
And does it depend on the particular language/course?

So.... for my two cents worth... lol
From what I've seen, each course has a maximum amount of XP that you can get for completing it, and of course that varies by how many lessons that language has. However, if you get answers incorrect while completing the in-lesson review questions, you will not receive XP for that question. And if you push retry, and get it wrong again, you will actually start to loose XP. Been there, done that. However, there are some interesting cases of folks who have over 1000 XP in MySQL, which is technically not possible, unless of course things were different back when they joined. So that's my observation... 😊

Maths Devotee , Anthony Quick , NATHAN , Anya , Вадим Иванов , AL Araf thanks for your responses. Yes, it's surprising how some can get over 1000 points for courses like SQL that don't have challenges at all! As you said, maybe the points system was different in the past and they completed their courses a while back. It's a pity we can't view others' certificates to see exactly when. Nithiwat if you are still here, do you mind telling us when you completed the sql course?

From 190 (jQuery) to 520 (Python). SQL - 195.

Anthony Quick that observation is worth two thousand cents! But unfortunately I don't have the money to pay you 😢

Anya I marked Anthony Quick 'S first answer as best. As we said there were several informative ones, but thanks for helping me to adjudicate.

Anya C was the last course I completed. Swift was much before that but far from being the first course. Could I ask exactly what you are checking?

No, it's not "hackable". Python, Ruby, C++, HTML, PHP, JS, C#, and Java you can challenge other users, and earn XP. However, SQL, CSS, JQuery, C, and Swift you can not challenge in. That's why it's puzzling that some users have such high XP for courses that don't have challenges. Stephen Paget 😊

if you comment on some lesson and if you get up vote then you also get xp. That's why some people has more and some less xp in courses with no challenges (like c or css) .

You will get less XP which language has less lessons!! You will get more XP, which language has more lessons!!

It greatly depends on the size of the content in the language.
If a language has more content then it definitely has more XP.
you're awarded by the questions you answer after a lesson

Anthony Quick If i could choose you for better answer I instantly would

Depends. The language influences because the quantity of lessons.
But it's between 240 to 350.
Edit: wait i was checking some profiles. It seens that can scales with your level.
Can you confirm for me if swift or C it was one of yours first courses?
