I had the same problem, and it's true, with swiftkey that problem disappeared. Anyway I uninstall it because it doesn't have different keyboard layouts.
I thought that keyboard problem happens because of my 1gb RAM, but wow you have 6gb RAM 😐 and still you faced the same problem.

It used to happen to me aswell on gboard.I switched to swiftkey and it was solved.
