Job offer python

Are there really a lot of jobs offers regarding Python ? Here in France for instance I see a lot of companies asking for java or web package (html, css, javascript, angular, ...), but mostly Java (Java EE).

Python is good for things such as data science.

Python isn't use to create big apps. It's mainly use for some parts of the code.
Companies prefer people knowing Java/c++ or web, but it can be a great advantage knowing python.
