Is it possible to make programs using android devices..?

Im still learning about programming. I think i understand the basics now. If I want to make a program like android app using my android phone, is it possible.? I know android has it limits, bt is theres a way to code and make android apps using the android device..?

Well, there is a app called Sketchware on Play Store..
It dosen't even require programming experience... Well just a bit.. It has tutorials and its capable of creating Android Apps with basic views (elements)..

Daradakumbura A text editor is useful only for edit text, it its not thinked for building app... That is work of builders toolchain (that AIDE, Java N-IDE etc use internally)
