Should I swap electrical engineering major with computer engineering major?

I am currently an undergraduate at Turkey in Marmara University, major of Electrical Engineering. I am more interested in programming rather than electronics or hardware. Actualy i kind of like hardware but I dont think there is a bright future for it as much as software part(as well as entrepreneurship). I heard about graduates of electrical engineering is less likely get hired for a software job rather than computer engineers. I like to discuss this situation. :)

I hold MSc degree in Electronic Engineering. I'm happy for what I've chosen, as an electronic engineer, I could understand well all computer layers and hardware architecture. I build electric gadgets with microcontrollers, write C program firmware to build the gadget operations. I write C#.net desktop programs to build desktop programs for controlling all remote gadgets. Recent years, I explore into web programming. I would build web access IOT gadget using Javascript, api and server scripts and other web technologies. i was firnware engineer, later promoted to hardware & software engineer.

If you love programming that much, then switch. If it's your passion and you'll work hard on it, you'll definitely be successful.
