let's suppose customer is a table from which nowe need to fetch only those customers details who have been added recently in the table, so we can use below query. select * from customer order by ctdb_cre_datetime desc; I am referring ctdb_cre_date as a column name where customer creation date & time is being updated.

By default order by places the result in ascending order. For descending you have to mention desc keyword. order by column_name desc;
