What is meant by tag???

I don't know how to tag this...if I am send any post I rapidly confused how to tag this...I really don't know about this

If you mean the tags required while posting a question/post, tags are a way to enable a sololearner somewhere with the ability to answer your question to indentify your question in a search.... if i am seeking to answer python3 questions for example, if i search for questions around python3 then questions which specified python3 tag will be returned. So tags enable you to single out the audience your question/post is meant for -- a python question for a python audience and so on.

Tags are special type of syntax used in html and even angular js. As they recognise them instead of the colon or semicolon in c or c++ or python etc
