Any "papers" are useful. But CS, Comptia N+, and actual experience are most valuable.
That said, look at metrics:
How many jobs _in your target field_ say "AWS an advantage" vs how many don't. Then look at your likelihood to get the job you want as it stands... and so forth. Statistical analysis will answer your question better than SL's Q&A.
