cause i need links to be compact so in a text editor i dont have to make 2 separate files

I'm not understanding where the 2 separate files comes in. You can always have internal JS from an HTML file. In theory, anything resource/content with a URL/URI can be requested/accessed... As for YouTube specifically, you may want to take a closer look at their API to figure out if there's a way to meet your needs.
