Anyone with an idea of how to do google indoor mapping in android?

am totally new to android development but want to android indoor mapping project using android studio. however I know some basics of java

Try some smaller stuff at first. Android Java is different from the structure of how the program runs to normal Java. So take some time to get to know things like xml, activities, life cycles and this stuff.

Do not confuse between XML and HTML...
HTML is XML based, but both are different: even they have almost the same syntax, they don't have same vocabulary and may differs on particular rules...
However, if you already know HTML, it's easy to understand how to read and/or write-format basics XML files ;)
