My suggestion for a 10 step program:

1. Start with SoloLearn (you're in the right place!)
2. Learn more from online resources that offer advanced courses
3. Do a lot of programming exercises (like SoloLearn challenges)
4. Do some more exercises
5. Still more exercises
6. Take on a project that interests you
7. Ask and answer peer questions online (like you're doing here now) regularly
8. Keep uploading your source codes online, whatever they are
9. Get a mentor
10. Keep reading a lot and put everything to use by doing more exercises

You could also get a CS degree, if you prefer the academic path.
