Should we learn html ?

Is it a good choice to learn html in 2018 or we should go with other options like JavaScript or xml ?
Will html help to understand android better ?

I would not consider JavaScript or XML to be equitable alternatives to HTML. JavaScript is a programming language. HTML and XML are both markup languages, but they were designed with different purposes in mind. HTML provides a document presentation structure and focuses on content and meaning. XML provides structure for data and focuses on individual pieces of information.

HTML may or may not help you understand Android better, but they are generally considered different realms with some cases of overlap (e. g. WebView).
