What I understand is that you need the things you have to learn for developing a AI bot

And off course it's not easy

So here they are

For basic AI
1. Neural Networks
2. Fuzzy Logic
3. Natural Language Processing
4. XML Why? Because most chat bots run on a language called AIML ( Artificial Intelligence Markup Language )

And one power full language like Python
