That depends on your practise both are good languages and its varie person to person how they see that language
Javascript: its an language which can easily used as front end as well as backend, very nice frameworks like jquery, Angular, React and so on
Php:- its an server side scripting language generally more easy to use have many frameworks like laravel, codignator, symfony and so on
Both can use within html files and easily used and manipulate so its depends on your practise which made it tough or easy to use any of above language
