Is JAVA required in making apps?
I heard html5, css3, iquery javascript and lots more other programs that are useful in making apps. So is it helpful to learn JAVA first?

Ohh yeah android is a part of J2ME. Which is a type or part of java only. Actually android apps are created using java and xml language.
