What is worth learning ~No background in programming or scripting~
Hey guys, New to all of this, however looking too challenge myself a little intellectually, I have no background with computers, I am rather interested in creating an app similar too, "idle heroes" which basically seems like itll need a combat system, random prize system, leaderboards, interface wise i could design it, but implementing code behind it is where im at my ends... Suggestions for what too look into to create something like this would be nice :) Thanks.

Brent I commend you on your gung-ho attitude for game development with no background in programming. It sounds like you don't shy away from being intellectually challenged.
If you have a decently powered computer, I highly recommend you start with Unity Game Engine and jump right into C#. I know nothing know enough about PyGame. However, I'm a bit biased as I wouldn't consider using Python for commercial development, much less game development.
I would start with any number of YouTube videos that walk you through, step-by-step, with building a variety of games in Unity. You will be immersed for a long time.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck which ever language you proceed with.

🤔
If you download IDE and work in console. Then you can learn Python and then PyGame, or C# and then Unity

If you are going to make a combat game in Sololearn, I suggest you go with the stream of web code because only web code allows interactivity.
Firstly, you learn HTML, then CSS, then JavaScript
After that, you learn the basic, then you can start this tutorial by Happy to help:

After that,
Learn about leader board :

By the way, some people will come to tell you that this question has been asked before and ask you to use search bar. And also will mfd this so this question will get deleted after 24hrs.
Don't be offended because it is to help the Q&A be better.

Gordon here is a text overview of the idea behind what i am looking to make
"The aim of the game is to assemble a group of Heroes and to continuously improve and equip them with new items. With these heroes fights are carried out, repeatedly, which brings different rewards. Even when you're not around.
Idle Heroes offers more than 200 heroes in different factions with specific and unique skills. Summon them, train them to become more powerful, or convert them into special material to evolve your other heroes. Furthermore you're able to forge magical Equipment or beat various contents like dungeons, quests or raids.
The multiplayer part of the game allows you to join a Guild and the worldwide Arena. Compete with the best players or help your allies to fight mighty bosses. Whatever you do, you'll earn generous rewards."
Is C# best off too use for something like this?

My guess is values (coins, gems other in game currencies) would be stored in a database, which has me wondering if theres a few different languages I'm going to need too look into...
Excuse the mass questions, I'm skimming posts/looking up what others have done...
