Hi there!) This is my first language, and I've started to learn this book, so after 1 weak, I accidentally met some comment about this book, that it is only useful as manual in case if you forgot something. I just wanna see your opinion, cz I really like this book, I'm on page 250, and i like the way how author explain everything, it's easy and understandable, but 2k page it's something big, and maybe I will spend time not efficiently) this is my 3-rd book, I tried 2 other books on Russian language, but decided to learn from start on eng, and they also was pretty hard, so) waiting for you answers, thank you for you time! By the way I could not found 11-editon)

I also read that review, so I searched a bit more and found HEAD FIRST JAVA to be both beginenner programming friendly and beginner Java friendly... I'm also learning Java (not my first language) and this book rocks... After head first I would suggest EFECTIVE JAVA
