JavaScript or Python?

What is better to study a 14 year old teenager? JavaScript or Python? There is a basic knowledge of programming: algorithms, cycles, variables, conditions.

Neither language will spoil you eternally for the other one. (Probably you'll learn it later anyway.) You should choose based on what exactly you want to do with programming. JS would be the natural choice if you want to do web.

That really depends on you! There are many, many different areas where you can be productively writing code, and web is definitely one of them. Why have you started with this? Where exactly do you want to go with code?

In fact, JavaScript makes good applications, games, interactivity to the site, desktop applications, virus programs and much more. Python comes closer to computational calculations, working with a neural network.
