[historical note] Flash tried to stand in for websites for a while. Its language was ActionScript; I don't recall how it interfaced with JS.

You'll need js, Css for the client side and PHP or node.js or others for web framework.

No, only frameworks, but they are still in HTML

Theres others like, JS Bootstrap, CSS, node.js and more

It depends. There is haml.info out there.
Haml stands for HTML abstraction markup language, so it's an alternative, but at the end it's still transformed into HTML.

HTML is one part to create a web.
To create a web you need HTML (Hyber Text Markup Language), CSS, JS, ect.

Angular JS, React JS
Install Node.js, after that open command prompt and type
npm install -g react
After its done, now you have react in your system. Research on how to start a react project and you will find its even much easier.

Yes, because you can define the skeleton of a web page only in HTML and this is what a browser can understand. Do not know about the future but yes as of now this is the only markup language available.
Thanks
