Kotlin OR Flutter

Which is better for programming phone applications , kotlin or flutter ?? Why?

I'm not familiar with flutter. The only thing I know about it is that google developed it. If you already know how to code in java, then kotlin is easier to learn since kotlin is less verbose than java. It even uses the JVM.

i looked into flutter on github..looks nice. but i have no opinion i use neither

I saw a video on 2019 prediction for Android development and it said that flutter will be mainstream in near future... I don't know what it offers because I don't want to be android dev but if you ask me I would go with flutter
