Is there a way to see what different functions/variables are doing in challenges?

The best way that I learn at least is just by doing things. I have ADD and reading or listening isn't an effective way. I've spent a lot of time doing challenges just to learn different functions. I have to research all the functions and variables though and was wondering if there was a way to see what they do in the challenge. It would be nice if I could tap a function and have it pull up what it's used for somehow. Or even if there was a link that would explain what I'll be using and how they work for that particular challenge. Just wondering if there is one or if I have to research it on Google each time. A follow up question is does anyone else have ADD and what was the best way you've found to study?

I wish you could see what the functions did as well. It doesn't even tell you the answer. I'm completely with you :)
