Making minecraft mods is not a very easy thing to do...Too much info to put into one post. I recommend picking up java on sololearn and then looking at crayfish's (or whoever the dev of that one furniture mod is) youtube tutorial series on making minecraft mods. Just know that you'll need to put a lot of time and effort into a project like this.

Thanks, what do you plan on doing with Java. Creating apps, video games or modding as well?

I don't personally use Java myself, but is definitely good for what you listed. I recommended Java because that is the language you need to know in order to mod minecraft (I used to do it but I never publicly released my mods. just LAN stuff with friends)
