The One True Morty a majority of the mods would agree with you,
I my self think somtimes a duplicated question can have better answers then anothers but then the new one gets removed.
As our role we have been asked to report these duplicate questions to be removed we could ignore them but then were not fulfilling or role as a moderator i understand your frustration and will make a suggestion to SL.

The One True Morty Hopefully in the new update we see some changes
I have tried to push some suggestions through one being the search bar as mods foward those who ask duplicate questions there, but many users expect that when they type in something like "whats the diffrence between a class and a instance of class?" That it will return similar questions asked but it dosent work like that.
It seems to compare each word with tags attached to that question. So a better search on my question would be "diffrence class-instance class" because the chances are these words were used as tags for a similar question.

I wish that if a thread is marked for deletion, it would alert the people who supplied answers for that thread. That way, I can go back into the thread, copy the text of my responses, and move them (repost them) into whichever thread(s) the moderator cited as the duplicate.
... At least until moderators get a tool to merge threads.

They supervise other if they are following rules, they can delete abusive post, they control copyright, and so on.

đ¤ I see that only two questions have been removed for https://www.sololearn.com/Profile/8385605 but I can't peek into the removed threads themselves to see how reasons were supplied/delivered/communicated. If you're really curious, you can email info@sololearn.com and request that they look into it, especially if you feel that a moderator or moderators have not been following the Moderator Guidelines or Moderator Code of Ethics.

Best I can tell, they wait for a question to be asked and then they show up to tell people to use the search function to find the answer instead of asking.
Which sucks. Half of my learning here over the last couple years has been helping others in Q&A. They have mostly removed that aspect.
Mods should keep spammers and hate speech in check and leave the rest alone

Oh yea, I get it. You have guidelines to follow.
Just a bummer. When people ask questions that I dont know the answer to, it makes me research it until I understand it enough to explain it to them.
My Sololearn learning was probably 75% Q&A research for other people. Shame others miss out on that learning enviroment

I just know Moderators aren't so kind to Me! They just removed my questions several times, without any logical reason!!
