Complete beginner

Hello. I have always wanted to learn coding. Or at least try. Where is the best place to start? Which of the courses on here should I start with?

Sounds good you made your choice, and don't worry, the lessons are designed such that even those who never learned before can take, there's the "Try it yourself" codes sample ready to test to help understanding, there's comments section where people discuss subjects, and this forum of course, no sweat 👍

Hello and welcome! the first I would suggest to you would be the FAQ page, there's a simple guide for choosing your language to begin with, and some other frequently asked questions (and answers of course). https://www.sololearn.com/faq And if you have time but probably haven't yet, please also read this general guidelines of the forum: https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1316935/?ref=app Welcome to the community

Hi Alex! I started to learn progamming about month ago. I suggest to choose the language and start a course. I finished course and then started to play challenges. Challenges are good way to get familiar with basic things (arrays, loops, structs an so on). After every challenge, check the right answers and try to really understand why and how. After about 100 challenges I repeated the course and I learned much much more than first time. I believe this is good way to get started. I am surprised how versitale and educational SoloLearn is. This is good place to start learning. If you really have motivation I believe you will find your way!
