Conflicting posts about html6 and css4.

I've seen some posts from 2017 that html6 and css4 are coming and will introduce automatic image sizing, better video control, camera access etc. Yet there are reports from 2018 that there is no html6 and that html5 and beyond are simply called html and that the increments in features will be small. Does anyone know the latest information about this standard?

HTML6 has been an interesting rumor for awhile. CSS upgrades in modules (and levels within modules), so you might find this informative: https://drafts.csswg.org I find w3.org impossible to navigate (the irony) so I just went straight to their github. https://github.com/w3c?tab=repositories I hope this helps. 😅

Everything I have read says that HTML will be a "living language". So no html6 but minor updates to html5 or html as it will most likely be called moving forward. This is the most recent link I have seen for it. This is WhatWG. https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/
