Is python more efficient than java in Android development?

For android development, Java is more favoured and as KrOW stated, it is officially supported too.

Depends what you mean for efficient but for sure, Python, is not officially supported like development language on android

Oblivious python language is more "efficient" on typing context, but you will have other problems type (starting from setup of environment)

So kotlin...is also supported officially ....but what i meant was...if i use python...will it be much more easier...while coding syntax wise
