There is nothing late in learning. Please go ahead with positive spirit, and start learning. You can start from some basics fundamentals in programming, like start from C, C++ and then move ahead. :)

Start from C language first so it will give u some basic idea of coding....and then start with java becoz concepts in java are more tough in that..... first start with basics in C and then try to write programs urself.

starting with C is good idea , but you can start with java. I started with Java and then move to C,c++ and python

It depends how much you are familiar with programming fundamentals. If you have read some basics about C/C++, then you can start learning java. If you haven't, I would recommend you to first go with C/C++.
