How to link the local host to run php in netbeans

It seems there's a problem with the XAMPP installation, try to uninstall it first, then reinstall. If it happens again, you may need to re-download the XAMPP installer, probably you have a corrupt installer. Try that for now, and let me know how it works,.

You need to be more descriptive with that question. * Did it work before, or is this first installation? * You said there's error, what error? is there message shown? * What O/S you use? which PHP version? * Are you using PHP software package or you install PHP and web server individually? * What steps you have taken to counter the problem, and how did they go?

Netbeans by default auto run localhost if you have xampp installed and working folder reside in htdocs folder. If you have local php server run on certain port number by cmd php - S localhost:port, netbeans allow you to set the custom port with localhost too.
