First of all make your decision about your goal. If you are going to be a web developer and designer go for html, css and then Javascript.
If you want to make games, applications and ... go for Java because it's a general purpose programming language.
Good luck.

Ā āØ JavaScript is another incredibly popular language. Many websites that you use every day rely on JavaScript including Twitter, Gmail, Spotify, Facebook, and Instagram according to General Assembly.
Additionally, itās a must-have when adding interactivity to websites because it communicates with HTML and CSS. This makes it essential for front-end development and consumer-facing websites while becoming increasingly important in back-end development and growing in demand all the time. Because of its popularity, JavaScript is also the leading the charge in test automation frameworks, being the backbone of frameworks like Protractorand Nightwatch.JS.

JavaScript is easy.
I prefer recommending you JavaScript.
But if you want to jump to software development directly then learn java because JavaScript is just a scripting language.
For beginning programming and for easiness to learn java, you need to learn JavaScript.

There is no "correct" order. These languages have different applications. But js is certainly simpler to start with, as it only requires a browser and a text editor, which every computer already has installed by default.
(Although I do recommend using a more feature rich editor than Notepad.)
